Artistic direction and choir Friederike Woebcken
Friederike Woebcken became professor of choral conducting at “Hochschule für Künste” in Bremen (Germany) in 1998. She conducted the Great High School Choir, founded by her as well as a Chamber Choir, with whom she won awards at national and international choir competitions. She also conducts the “Madrigalchor Kiel”, an ensemble that is known far beyond Northern Germany through different cd recordings and many concerts. From 1996 to 2000 Friederike Woebcken led together with Eric Ericson the summer courses in choral conducting at the Nordkolleg Rendsburg. She is nationally and internationally active as a lecturer and juror. In June 2002, she received the “culture award” of the city of Kiel. Artistic direction and orchestra Mika Eichenholz
Swedish conductor Mika Eichenholz made his debut with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in 1989 after studying with Prof. Jorma Panula at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. The same year, also the year of his graduation from the Sibelius Academy, he was awarded First Prize at the Swedish Competition for Conductors (Svenska Dirigentpriset). In 1990 he was chosen to replace Neeme Järvi at very short notice on a tour with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and soloists Ida Haendel and Lynn Harrell, thus beginning a career that has since brought him to orchestras worldwide. Mika Eichenholz is frequently engaged as guest conductor in the Swedish and Finnish orchestras as well as being a returning conductor in orchestras in Eastern Europe (Slovenia, the Czech republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania), Austria as well as in South America (Chile, Brazil a.o). A couple of years ago he formed a steady relationship with the Kazan State Opera with whom he has toured in Europe on a regular basis with singers from the Bolshoi and Marinsky Theatres in productions of Verdi’s Nabucco, Bizet’s Les Pêcheurs de Perles and Mozart’s Magic Flute. As an opera-conductor he has also been engaged by Folkoperan in Stockholm (La Traviata, Das Rheingold), the Gothenburg Opera and Värmlandsoperan.
In 2006 Mika Eichenholz made his debut with the Hamburger Symphoniker and has subsequently been re-invited for three further productions.
Among recent and upcoming engagements to be mentioned are concerts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, the Hamburger Symphoniker as well as opera tours in Holland. In March 2009 Mika Eichenholz made his successful debut with the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra as musical leader and conductor of the production “Nordlichter, eine Sibelius Phantasie” at the Haus für Mozart in Salzburg. Among future highlights are engagements with the Hamburger Symphoniker, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Finlandia, Orquesta de Cámara de Chile a.o.Mika Eichenholz’s extensive discography includes a large number of CD releases on EMI, Marco Polo, Naxos and others. Lecturer for violin Silja Câmpean
born June 17, 1989 in Põltsamaa, Estonia, started to study violin at the age of six. She started the basic studies with Tiina Luhamets in 1999 at H. Eller Music School and continued the secondary music education in the same school with Andres Leivategija.
She participated in the German-Scandinavian Music Week for the first time in 2005. Performed as a soloist with Eller Symphony orchestra on the 2009. She graduated the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in professor Tõnu Reimann’s class in 2013 and continued to do the Masters in violin pedagogy. Academyc year 2015/2016 she studyed in Italy at the Conservatory of Verona with Maestro Alberto Ambrosini. Autumn 2016 continnued studying in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with dots. Arvo Leibur.She worked as a violin teacher at Viimsi Music School in 2013 – 2017. Silja is a member of the youth orchestra Reaalmažoor and the chamber music ensemble Yheksa. She has also played in the Symphony Orchestra of the Vanemuine Theatre in Tartu, the Estonian National Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Järvi Academy. As a violinist she participated in Jarek Kasar's opera "Katuselt", performed at the theatre NO99. In spring 2013 she joined the cast at the NUKU theatre bringing on stage the musical "Shrek".
She has taken part in masterclasses with Anna-Liisa Bezrodny, Mari Tampere, Leonardo Cella, Ilya Grubert and Ulrike Danhofer.

Lecturer for Viola Viola Fricke
Born in Minden in 1994, Viola grew up in a musical family. Playing the violin as a child, she was active in chamber music ensembles and orchestras – among others, at Scheersberg. Inspired by several stays abroad and her social commitment, she first chose Islamic Studies as her university program in Freiburg. She changed from violin to viola around the same time, taking lessons with Manuel Druminski and Tanja Christ, and got accepted at Freiburg University of Music with Wolfram Christ in 2017. In 2019, she joined Anna Krimm’s class at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. She has been receiving further musical and viola inspiration from Prof. Volker Jacobsen, Raphael Sachs, Philipp Nickel, Prof. Hariolf Schlichtig, Prof. Hartmut Rohde, Prof. Roland Glassl and Prof. Lars Tomter.
Viola is part of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and the Asambura Ensemble, interned at the Philharmonic State Orchestra Mainz in 2019/20 and has been active in the Opus Trium trio, together with Karl Rauer and Rang Lee, with Prof. Hansjacob Staemmler from Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts accompanying the trio.
Going beyond standard repertoire and a traditional instrumental education is important to Viola. She is actively working with historical performance praxis and studies the baroque viol with Werner Saller (Freiburg Baroque Orchestra). Additionally, she regularly participates in New Music projects and works with non-European musical cultures to experience different sound aesthetics. In 2020/21/22, Viola was a scholarship holder of the Richard-Wagner-Association Frankfurt as well as of the Deutschland-Stipendium, first via the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation, and currently via the Musica Aeterna Foundation.

Lecturer for Violoncello Florian Bischof
Florian Bischof grew up in Wendland, Lower Saxony, where he at first learned how to play electric bass and guitar. Soon he discovered his love for classical music and took cello classes with Ilka Wagener. During his time in New Zealand he acquired valuable mucial impulses, took part in musical and chamber music projects, and received the title of ´´Best in Music´´ in his final year at Birkenhead College, Auckland. In 2003 he at first began studying musicology at University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar. In 2007 he further enrolled in cello studies at the same university in the class of Christoph Spehr, which he successfully graduated in 2012. Alongside his studies he partook in enriching masterclasses of well-known lecturers such as Michael Sanderling and Peter Bruns. Furthermore, he regularly played in the State Orchestra Weimar before temporary engagements drew him first to Lübeck and then in 2012 to the State Philharmonic Orchestra Nürnberg. Since summer 2015 he is a permanent member of Nürnberg’s symphonists. At the same time he regularly works as a temporary help in various orchestras. Also ensemble work with different genres and line-ups are part of his musical career, in which he is most interested in performing works and composers that are rarely played.

Lecturer for woodwind / house concerts and folk dance Olivija Popovaitė
Hey there, my name is Olivija Popovaitė. I was born and raised in Vilnius, Lithuania, but since 2016 I live and study in Nürnberg, Germany. Since 2012 I‘m participating in the German-Scandinavian Music Week, first as an oboist and since 2014 also as a responsible for the organisation and moderation of the in-house concerts together with Mari. We are an inseparable team there and also on the dance floor where we leap in the folk dance rhythms. I am looking forward to meet you at Scheersberg and have an amazing music experience together!

Lecturer for brass Alex Tim Nielsen
Alex born 1985, started to play the Eb-horn in Roskilde Garden in 1996. Then converted to euphonium, before he started playing the trombone. From 2005-2007 he studied trombone at MGK køge (pre academic studies) at Christian Schmediescamp. He was accepted into the Danish Royal Academy of Music in 2007, where he studied at Torbjörn Kroon from 2007-2012. During his studies he has played with numerous Brass Bands, Big Bands, wind bands and symphony orchestras. Among these are Lyngby-Taarbæk Brass Band, Dusika, Rødovre Concert Band, Lyngby-Taarbæk Symphony orchestra, Lyngby-Taarbæk wind band.
In later years he also played with the Royal Danish Theatre, Slesviske Musikkorps, Prinsens Musikkorps, Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Danish Radio Chamber Orchestra. During his studies he also attended masterclasses and lessons with Raymond Munnecom, Jesper Juul, Kasper Thaarup, Mogens Andresen, Rolf Sandmark, Kristjan Berger, Kristian Steenstrup, Peter Schmidt and Carsten Svanberg.

Lecturer for percussion Pauls Andersons
Was born in 1974 in Liepaja/Latvia. After training in singing and piano at the music school of his home town, he discovered his love for percussion due to his teacher Asmis Edvins. At first he specialized in Jazz with the drumset. During his studies with Hermann Schwander at the Meistersinger Conservatory in Nürnberg he also received timpani lessons from the solo timpani player of the opera in Kiel as well as the solo timpani player of the Berliner Philharmonic Orchestra, Reiner Seegers. In 1996 Pauls Andersons began additional studies in timpani and percussion at the Conservatory in Amsterdam with Nick Woud, the solo timpani player of the Radio Symphonic Orchestra of Holland and with Jan Pustjens, the solo percussionist of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. Pauls Andersons talent has been recognized many times. In November 1995 he received the grant of the Erna-Köhler-Foundation for oustanding achievements during his studies, in March 1996 and April 1997 the first place of the competition of the "Nürnberger Nachrichten". In July 1997 he was chosen for the Schleswig-Holstein-Music-Festival as percussionist. In December 1997 he received the the first place at the competition of the "Handelskammer" and at the same time the grant of the "Nürnberger Förderverein". In August 1998 he participated at the World Marimba Competition in New York and received a grant for percussion Doctor grad. with Prof. G. Stout. Pauls Andersons has been lecturer for percussion at the DSM since 1999.
